Two suns going down over the desert, and two people watching from the edge of home.

Inspired by the twin-sun desert world of the Star Wars saga. A farmstead of sand-coloured domes, tall towers drawing water out of the dry air, and a couple at the rim of the sunken courtyard as both suns slip toward the dunes. The quiet end of an ordinary day on a world far from ours, and to me the most hopeful sunset in science fiction. Nothing in it is copied from any film.
A French colour lithograph of the 1890s: flat layers of colour, the soft grain of the stone, the registration a little loose, and a sky built up in bands of orange, rose and violet. My favourite part is the long shadows the two of them throw back across the sand.
The look comes from Henri Rivière's colour lithograph "Le Crépuscule" (Twilight), 1898. I borrowed his flat, glowing dusk and quiet silhouettes. His man, horse and haystacks aren't here.
I create each scene with AI image tools, then art-direct and refine it until it feels right. It's a print of a digital artwork made in the style of a lithograph, not a hand-pulled lithograph or an original print. A typeset caption under the picture names the book, the moment and the style that inspired it. Each one carries my printed "Chapter & Scene" signature in the margin.
A4 or A3, unframed or framed. Every print is made to order on heavyweight 200gsm+ archival matte paper at full print quality (300 DPI). Frames are slim pine, in black, white or natural oak, with shatter-resistant plexiglass and no mount, so the print's own cream margin is the border. Framed prints arrive ready to hang. Free delivery to the UK and US, tracked on most orders. Small unframed prints going to the US are sent untracked.
